Cagrilintide

A long-acting amylin analogue peptide developed by Novo Nordisk. Amylin is a pancreatic hormone co-secreted with insulin that suppresses glucagon, slows gastric emptying, and promotes satiety via amylin and calcitonin receptors. Being studied in combination with semaglutide as CagriSema for additive and potentially synergistic weight loss effects beyond what either agent achieves alone.
