Growth Hormone Secretagogue

Full name: GHS

A class of compounds that stimulate growth hormone release by activating the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). Includes peptide GHRPs (GHRP-2, GHRP-6, Ipamorelin, Hexarelin) and non-peptide compounds (MK-677). GHS compounds work synergistically with GHRH analogues (CJC-1295, Sermorelin) — the two classes acting on different pathways that amplify each other's GH pulse effect.
