Intranasal Administration

Delivery of compounds through the nasal mucosa. Allows some compounds to bypass the blood-brain barrier and reach the CNS directly via the olfactory and trigeminal nerve pathways. Used for Semax and Selank (their approved delivery route in Russia). Offers rapid absorption and avoids first-pass hepatic metabolism. Useful for short neuropeptides with CNS targets.
