Route of Administration
Full name: ROA
The path by which a compound enters the body. Research peptides are most commonly administered via subcutaneous injection (SC), intramuscular injection (IM), or intranasal spray (IN). Oral administration is generally ineffective for peptides > 3 amino acids due to protease degradation and poor intestinal absorption, with notable exceptions such as collagen dipeptides and some cyclic peptides.
