A synthetic tripeptide developed from brain and pineal gland tissue extracts at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Animal research has investigated its neuroprotective properties, effects on visual cortex function, and potential to slow age-related degeneration of nervous tissue.
