P
Pituitary Gland
Full name: Hypophysis
A pea-sized endocrine gland located at the base of the brain, connected to the hypothalamus by the pituitary stalk. The anterior pituitary produces growth hormone (GH), TSH, FSH, LH, ACTH, and prolactin. The posterior pituitary releases oxytocin and vasopressin. The pituitary is the primary target organ of the GHRH analogues (CJC-1295, Sermorelin) and GHRPs (GHRP-2, Ipamorelin, Hexarelin).
